How to turn a podcast episode into YouTube Shorts

Podcasts are awkward on a phone until you cut them. People will not sit through ten minutes of “um” to reach the good line.

Import the episode into Mani Clips as a local file or a YouTube URL if the show is already uploaded. Let the app generate shorts, then hunt for a clip that starts on a clear sentence.

A usable podcast short usually has three beats: a claim, a proof or story, and a line people would repeat. If the cut starts in the middle of a sentence, skip it.

Burn captions. Most people watch Shorts muted for the first second. If the words on screen do not match what was said, trust drops immediately.

Export one or two winners, not twenty near-duplicates. Platforms punish the same face saying the same thing with a slightly different in-point.
